About Me
My name is Sarah Ahmed.
I am interested in how people work together, how organisations evolve, and how structures can be shaped to foster participation and shared responsibility.
I support teams, organisations, and individuals in professional development processes — whether during phases of decision-making, in shaping productive team cultures, or through case consultation to reflect on complex work situations.
My work is situated at the intersection of research, consulting, and practice. Experiences in political education, academic research, and collaboration with non-profit and civil society organisations shape my understanding of power relations, racism, and structural discrimination.
In my work, I bring together individual and institutional perspectives to support development processes that are sustainable, reflective, and grounded in meaningful connection.
How I work
In my work, I combine systemic approaches with anti-racist and discrimination-sensitive perspectives. I believe that people and organisations possess diverse resources for engaging with challenges — and that development emerges where space for reflection is created.
I work with individuals, teams, and organisations to
- make patterns and dynamics visible,
- broaden perspectives,
- strengthen capacity for action, and
- shape change processes in a conscious and intentional way.
Areas of Focus
My work focuses on the following areas:
- Systemic supervision and coaching
- Supporting change processes and organisational development
- Strengthening collaboration, leadership, and organisational culture
- Trauma-informed process facilitation in professional and organisational contexts
- Reflecting on power relations, discrimination, and structural inequality
- Anti-racist and intersectional organisational development
- Designing and facilitating trainings and workshops
My Perspective & Approach
I work from a systemic, anti-racist, trauma-informed, and resource-oriented perspective.
I understand organisations as part of broader social power structures and believe that reflecting on these dynamics can create possibilities for meaningful change.
Rather than positioning myself as an expert with solutions, I see my role as accompanying processes in which new perspectives, resonance, and possibilities for action can emerge.
